This is a scene from the EG Waterhouse Camellia Gardens in Caringbah, Sydney, Australia.

The Gardens began as a project under the 1970 Captain Cook Bicentenary program, and the first plantings were made in 1969. They are named after the late Professor EG Waterhouse, a leading world authority on camellias.

Open Monday – Friday 9.00am to 4.00pm; Weekends and Public Holidays 9.30am to 5.00pm. Closed Good Friday, Christmas Day & Boxing Day. Free Admission.

This is a well landscaped garden with ponds & water features & plants that bloom all year round & plenty of spots to stop & rest & soak it all in.

The ducks were stirring up the surface of the pond creating some interesting reflections.
