After a long rainy spell Sydneysiders get out on a mild winter’s night to experience some of Vivid Sydney – a festival of music, light & ideas.
This part of the festival was named Lighting the Sails. The Opera House sails became a kaleidoscope of colourful, changing patterns.

Artwork supplied by Brian Eno.

W.O.W. Michael …. how awesome …. you captured Brian Eno’s Artwork on our Opera House ….. it looks wonderful. I was a little worried about the timing of this Exhibition, being the first week of Winter I thought people might stay away – looks like I was wrong ….. great work!

  • Thank you Helen. I think the rain kept people away for about a week but this autumn/winter has been mild so far.

    awesome, well done Michael

  • Thanks Ian. I thought the Mrs Macquarie’s Chair view including the bridge would be a better view but after the long walk round I decided I liked this one better.

    Great capture,

  • Thanks Ann. Apparently the colours & patterns are constantly changing so if I visit again I’ll probably see something different.
