This little fungi was found growing on a dead tree stump in the forest with about a dozen relatives.
After a very dry spell, a little bit of rain set them off.
Apparently May is the best time for them as this is a wet month in this part of the Gippsland.
It amazes me how these little growths can appear almost overnight after a bit of rain & I love the colour.
