Unlike the famous Philip Johnson & others who love to get up before sunrise to catch awesome photos, I like to sleep in.
On a country trip to Dorrigo a few years ago, I was planning to leave for home after breakfast but was woken up too early by people in the next room who had an early start.
Deciding that I wasn’t going to get back to sleep I headed off & on the edge of town was rewarded with this great vista of farmland with morning autumn fog & a fascinating coloured edge to the cloud created by the emerging sun.
So .. the positive side of being woken up too early was a beautiful cloud with a silver lining !
