Food for the soul at Picnic Rock by

Picnic Rock is the point on the Box Forest Circuit at Lamington National Park where you decide whether to do the rest of the walk in a clockwise or anti-clockwise loop. The anti-clockwise direction means that you see the waterfalls first & then climb back up the mountain.

I thought the flowers on the right looked good against this background.

This is Lamington National Park in Queensland, Australia.

Photographed with a Canon 400D.

Beautifully taken Michael. Another great place with very nice walking tracks.

  • Thanks a lot John. I was on a real ‘high’ on that walk. One of my top 5 in Oz. Thanks for the fave too.
