Nature's contrasts .. rock & tree
I liked the way nature provided such an interesting contrast here with the solid, flat cliff face & it’s beautiful rich earthy sandy orange colour & the tree with it’s angular, curved branches perhaps inviting the rock to lighten up & bend a little .. dance a little.
This view is on the National Pass walking track near Wentworth Falls in the Blue Mountains National Park, Australia.

Very nice, this is one great shot.

Thanks again Troy. I took a similar shot about a year ago but wanted to improve on it.

Nice contrasts in many ways. It pays to look up from time to time. Well done.
Michael Matthews replied
Thanks Trish. Yes, sure does. As long as you keep your eye on the slippery rocks as well.

I love the contrast too Michael … the two are meant to be together especially in this region – well doneā„
Michael Matthews replied
Thanks Bev. At this rate I might need a second Blue Mountains calendar.

Love it, your right about the dancing tree, and the rock looks so stoic, and appears to look down it’s nose at the tree. Well spotted and ‘nice find’.

Thanks Andy. I quite like stark contrasts.
