Canyon walk at Blackheath

Another beautiful image of the rocks & ferns on the Grand Canyon walk at Blackheath in the Blue Mountains National Park, Australia.

I think I like this one as much as the Canyon steps image. It has the added highlight of the richly coloured rocks & none of the glare of the previous similar shot.

This loop track is currently undergoing repairs (November 2009), so that you have to return the same way you came, but the advantage is that you get the see things from a different angle.

Thanks very much Trish. My three favourite walks are within 10kms of each other in the Blue Mountains at the moment .. until I find more favourites. I’d move up there if it wasn’t so cold in the winter.
