This si fabulous, so sharp and detailed. I wish I’d been able to shoot mine like this.

  • Michael Rowley... replied

keep trying,it took me a couple of go’s to get a suitable one for my liking anyway, thanks again Jannie

Unfortunately, the one I used is no longer available to me, I have to use my own accoustic which is not nearly as photogenic as the bass I used. I managed to use one of the pics reasonably well, though!

  • Michael Rowley... replied

i have to learn to play it yet, have’nt had it all that long, but i must force myself, as its been a long time wish .
oh torch was used here too !

I can’t play mine either . . . and I’ve had one since 1975! When I found out the cost of lessons at that time, I just put it away until the mid ‘90s. A couple of years ago, I tried again, but, arthritis in my hands makes it impossible to stretch my short, fat fingers to some chords, so, I’m afraid it mostly gets used for photos now. Much to my great regret – like you, it’s a long-held wish.

    Quite inspiring composition, Michael..
I should do some work on my kid’s guitar.

  • Michael Rowley... replied 29 days ago

thanks so much Nira, yes often the simple things sitting under our own noses make a great image, this guitar sits beside me here, has done for a long time, only snapped at it a couple of months ago, was surprised myself at the result of a quick point and shoot
