    Lovely work!
    This reminds me of the the three or four giant fish we used to call “Japanese Fantails” that lived in a large stone pond in our front garden when I was a child. They were already there when my parents bought the house. Over the years they just grew and grew. If you came to the edge of the pond, they’d pop their mouths out of the water just waiting for breacrumbs! We used to hand feed them. Thanks for the memory! V.

    My Koi are so soothing to watch. I love to watch their tails fan out as they move gracefully through the water. Sometimes they younger ones aren’t so graceful but when they’re not it’s cute. There’s so much pleasure in a tiny being, so much color and life. This painting represents them very well.
