Colours All Over
I’d thought I would share some more of my work
Colours All Over belongs to the following groups:
Melbourne & VictoriaI’ve come to visit,
It’s so green and peaceful,
People are wandering the gardens in the warm sunshine,
But you’re inside in the cold hallways,
Colours all over,
That’s what you say,
Once you greeted me with a kiss,
I hope those will return not fade,
The doctors say you are off the meds,
Eating and talking,
Making progress and re emerging,
Painting emotions and reliving memories,
I see the beauty you depicted a long time ago,
Seeing the sticky excitement as you unraveled a new world on the canvas,
Through oil and brushes the lady I once knew is returning,
You didn’t look at me the first time I came,
You were ranting in your diary then burning the prose before extinguishing the fire with your tears,
Biting screaming and scratching in protest,
Wiggling with all you strength in that thin body,
Did you blame me? The decay of a young woman with dreams and hopes,
Colours all over,
You sing it in a melody and a spring in your step,
Grasping your renewed sanity in your hand,
Now you all my hand,
