Spirit is gone your skin is pale,
That’s what you looked like when you arrived,
Clothes ripped bruised body,
I asked what happened,
Only one word came out,

Violated,
That word chills me to the bone,
Innocence shattered,
Self esteem is no more,

The look in his eyes she will never forget,
Tears had flowed then mixed with blood,

Violated,
That word chills me to the bone,
Innocence shattered,
Self esteem is no more,

Shaking and cold,
She will never be the same,
The happy, smart, cheerful girl,
Who I knew is not there,
The sparkle had faded,
Just blackness inside,
I asked what happened

She was walking along,
Then she was grabbed from behind,
Next thing she knew he was inside her,
She struggled in vein,
But she was helpless,
Screams came out,
Then punches and blood ,

Violated,
That word chills me to the bone,
Innocence shattered,
Self esteem is no more,

She was scared,
His laugh was scarier,
Then death itself,
Why echoes in her mind,
You look around,
I wipe the blood from the floor,

As you approach the mirror you start to cry,
You can’t sleep fearing he will be there,
I offer to call the police,
You don’t know the girl staring back at you,

Violated,
That word chills me to the bone,
Innocence shattered,
Self esteem is no more,

Sleepless nights,
Tear soaked pillows,
Anger fills my veins,

Violated
