This photograph was taken from Alstonville in Northeast NSW on one of those rare evenings when lightning-active thunderstorms continue for hours. Needless to say a lot of pictures were taken that night with this one of the better shots. A roll cloud extending in from the coast near Ballina topped off the scene.
