Old Letters
I bought these old letters at an antique mart in Buenos Aires, Argentina back in February 2006. I set a few of them up against this old box that I have to create this image. I hope it inspires someone to NOT send an e-mail and pick up a pen to write a handwritten letter or postcard. I feel I am one of the few who still loves sending mail via the regular postal channels.
Sold 1 matted print to a writer in Pittsburg, PA.

aw, this actually reminds me of a friend of mine whos serving as a marine. the only way we can communicate is through letters
i kind of like the idea, its very old-fashioned but on the other hand, i do miss him terribly so thats a bummer. but the old fashion letters are good:):):)

Nice one. Pretty timeless aren’t they…letters. There’s something about writing a letter that’s more about meditation than communication sometimes. Now…when was the last letter I wrote…? Mnmmmm

You are one of the few that enjoys sitting down and handwriting wonderful letters, tis true… I remember a lady saying those words to me as well on an airplane flight I had not long ago… she told me she admired that I sat there the whole flight and wrote a couple of cards and letters to those who are so dear to me…. I really like your composition on this, it turned out wonderfully! ;~)))
