Art Form Trends
This so-called art form of tattoos seems to be a wild trend. One day we may see booths to get tattoos removed. Who knows?
In a 2004 film called MINDHUNTERS there were a group of FBI trainees. They brought up the fact that those who have tattoos are IN REVOLT with their parents (as per actual FBI profiling). I thought that was interesting. Art expression could-in fact-be a release of emotions, so it makes sense.

I think you might be right Micheal , I myself think it is disfigurement , and probably a day they will regret in the future . They can be removed but apparently it is a lot more painful than having them done . It would be excruciating having this many remove .

Awesome capture. It’s just another generation of youth expressing themselves in their own way. We did it with our music, our art, our literature, our fashion. The more things change, the more they stay the same…..... only slightly adjusted to reflect the times. They do it with their art, music, literature, fashion. they just tend to wear their art on their skin. I find a lot of it beautiful and fascinating. IMHO
