This is a beautifully toned image shot and processed extremely well showing great contrast, good strong leading lines and a great converging perspective.
It may be my ageing eyes and/or monitor but I feel the cyclist could be made to stand out more as a pratial silhouette by very careful use of the Dodge Tool in Photoshop. If you are willing to try it, set the tool to Highlights and the Exposure to 3%, choose the largest soft Brush and move it in an eliptical motion over and over the cyclist, slowly moving outward to feather the affect You may have to experiment a few times to get the. I could be wrong but it might be worth trying. 8-)
The depth of field and focus are excellent and there is sufficient detail in the shadows.
