thankyou so much for faving this yvonca. just revisited your port for a browse. wonderful work. i’m so glad that you liked this one. so much fun doing this and this series. really great to see that you had fun and enjoyed this one.
I’m interested in your process. Is this traditional work or a combination of traditional and digital?very unique and distinctive.
hi yvonca. everything on rb by me is digital. i only have 1 program that came with the pc. it’s microsoft paint. my older works are also done with microsoft paint that came with my old pc. the older work is the paint program that came with xp, the new work is the new paint that came with windows 7. i haven’t done much traditional work for a number of years now. before, i used various medium and mixed medium. most of my traditional drawing, when i drew, was done with paint. in the past my preference has always been knife but i use whatever comes to hand that works. but as i mentioned earlier, now i only do digital, mainly for economic reasons and storage space. hope you have a wonderful weekend ahead. tc, m
hi again yvonca.i should mention that part of the process is that i view the work as though it were a painting on a canvas or in some instances on paper. i also try to use methods that could be done in a traditional manner as well or as close as possible. i view most of my works as if they were done on large canvases, no smaller than 4 × 6 feet but usually much larger. ciao for now, m
thank you for the precious sharing of your process. I really thought this was traditional. I am very impressed that you can achieve these works digitally. rock on!!
