Five assorted alpacas grazing in Peru. Appears to be two families that seemed to be getting along well.

I always wanted to be an architect, but instead did several art degrees, taught in schools and universities around the world and retired a few years ago from the University of Melbourne where I was Head of Photography. My photographs are of things that interest me. My real love was medium format, black and white photography, but I have come to love my digital camera and the power of colour.

    Lovely capture Maggie !
It’s quite amazing that all five look quite different, although possibly the young ones
might belong to the older ones left and centre of the group ….

  • These creatures would only let us get so close, but no further. They were on their home turf and we were the intruders!
