Love the symmetry of the ears! There’s really only one pointy one per pup. Gorgeous.

laughs And they well look it… The Trouble… Seriously, seeing that one can barely understand why to be afraid of them…
But yes, they are Carnivores and no pets…
Mundy, you have an absolutely wonderful talent and I know you get told this on every single picture by 100 of people and everyone agrees. Just keep them coming. I absolutely adore your work and art and everything you do!
A big Thank You for that!

WOW how did you get so close, the Coyote’s here in Florida are so skittish that I only get a glimpse every once in a while. What a great capture, the Coyote is forever the trickster.

LOL How sweet! Sheea Your like my friend Barb… every peice becomes a fav!
Mundy Hackett, 1 day ago
Thank you Tony and Patricia, you can even count the ticks on the poor little things noggins. It was so much fun watching them play in the dirt, walk to the pond for a sip, or just bask in the sun. And the amazing thing is that this was but a small 16 acres of semi-wooded and old field land not a mile from the edge of Columbia, Missouri where we lived. Just an example of how adaptable the coyote has become, and no wonder now that it is in all 48 lower states as well as places like downtown Boston and New York and Chicago and LA, etc.

this is classic professionalism, a clear cut above the rest, I tip my hat to the master! terrific work Mundy
Mundy Hackett in reply to John Radosevich’s comment, 1 day ago
I don’t think I am a Master by any means John, but professionalism I do certainly try to embody with my work. I thank you so much for commenting, and I never get tired of looking at a fellow Virginians beautiful bluebirds. My pair had three eggs after their first brood but they didn’t hatch, I am hoping they will try again.
John Radosevich, 1 day ago
sorry to hear about the eggs not hatching, My second batch had four eggs, and all hatched and are doing well, can’t keep enough meal worms on hand for them.
John Wright, 1 day ago
You captured a wonderful pose. Classic puppy expressions. Flawless technique. Interesting that you took this in Boone County… I lived there at the time you took this. I saw raccoons, rabbits, and a red fox, but never caught a glimpse of any coyote. The only place I’ve seen Coyote is in the California desert and they were much too far to capture, and too wary for me to even setup the camera regardless.
