Captive or not my friend, this is a great photo. I personally think there is too much fuss made about captive or wild. All are Gods creatures and no matter where they are currently living, we snap photos like this all in the name of their preservation.

Stunning shot! Pity that a beautiful bird like this should be in captivity though.

Well, if it’s any consolation it had an injured wing that prevents it from really being able to thrive/live in the wild. So many of our birds of prey get injured, but if they can educate the youth of today then at least we can make their remaning years dignified and worthwhile. It would be far worse if a bird this magnificent were injured in vain. But this happens too, nature is an unforgiving thing at times. Only the healthy and strongest survive. Thanks for commenting.
