My name is Mark Fraser-Sutherland, and I live in Morayshire, the north-east of Scotland. I am an ameture photographer and have been a keen photographer now for many years. I started out with an old family camera and moved on to a Minolta SLR film camera in 2002, but found it confusing with so many settings so decided to move on a few years later to digital bridge camers. Apart from the ease of point and shoot, I found it a lot cheaper to take the photograph and decide there and then if I wanted to keep it due to the display modes on digital cameras.
Eventualy in 2009 I purchased my first Fuji digital camera, a S1700 bridging camera, which let me use it in full auto or start playing around with different settings. This led me to get my first Digital SLR, a Fuji S3 Pro, Which has help deliver some quality photographs.
I love to go walking within Scotland as there is so much beauty here to be captured, and due to the Scottish weather no 2 days in a row are the same. More often than not you’ll find me walking with my 2walking companions, my 2 dogs, as they love the long rambles in the Scottish hills.
