While the goal of my visit to Banff National Park in Alberta Canada was to search for Elk which are supposedly coming into rut, I found nothing. However this male Bighorn was more than willing to pose for me. Taken near Lake Minnewanka.

    Fabulous image!!!! I lived in Banff / Canmore for years….I was surprised to read that you didn’t see any elk! They are generally all over the place. I used to have them eating my front lawn all the time!!!!!
