    I love the minimalism in this and your framing. Am I correct in thinking that there was or had been lots of water near the tree? The only time I see them is when the dreek across the road has flooded!

  • Thanks Jan – plain blue skies occasionally serve a useful purpose. There is water around (horses in the paddock below it), but from time to time we get quite a lot of these things in flocks in the paddocks – they get into the dung beetles (unfortunately).
