Erin & Mick
I photographed this wedding last Saturday of Erin & Mick. Caroline Gorka followed me around for the day, but unfortunately I haven’t had the time to look at her photos yet. I don’t usually edit photos this quickly for a wedding, but I’ve got to clear my backlog as I’m leaving for a wedding in Bali next week.. YAY!
Anyway…Erin and Mick were a great couple, easy to get along with and very fun loving. I tried my best to bring these qualities in them out in the photos. The location of the wedding was the zoo, so we got to wander around the zoo all by ourselves for about 35min (yep, another rushed location shoot) before ending up at a really really lovely Japanese themed cherry blossom garden. We timed it right so that the lighting from the setting sun was intensely warm and you can see this in the images. These are just a few of the many photos I liked.. I really had trouble choosing them as there were so many nice ones.
After the wedding at around midnight, we did a quick 1 hr walk around the city to Parliament House and Hosier Lane to mix up the photos a little. It was a long day, but well worth it for the photos.

Wanda Lechene
wow great shots and beautiful bride
Sienna Morris
You can definitely see their energy and humor in these. The way you capture these candid moments makes me think you’d do well with film cinematography. Maybe Documentaries? Ever thought of it?
Peter Marin
Great work, and it was good to see the groom was a bit of a character also. Lots of fun in your pictures which is good to see. All the best for your trip to Bali.

Great pictures!! What settings and lens did you use?

Hien these shots are very interesting, as it resembles the few shots that I did with my 70-200 on a recent tagalong to a bridal shoot, they are awesome, but I prefer your Perth shots better. All in all though I bet the B&G would still love it!

Fantastic job! I love the last ones against the graffitti wall, very un-like what you expect from wedding shots. Great job.

Nice pics! Hien and Keegan, can I ask, what model of 70-200mm lens did you use? Aperture f2.8?
