On April 6th, 2012, Victoria pumped out one last round of thunderstorms for the season. An unseasonably warm mid autumn day in Victoria with temperatures nudging 30c was bought to an abrupt end when a cold front moved up from the south west of the state triggering a line of thunderstorms. Although there wasn’t much lightning visible from my point of view, I was certainly treated to an impressive shelf cloud. The first time I’ve witnessed one move in across the ocean. Good times.
