Brick Wall
I’ve always thought there is something beautiful about our old red brick walls. They are everywhere in this part of the world so we tend to dismiss them.. but if you go to parts of Italy they have wonderfully ornate brick work.
I like the idea that someone has come along and pointed parts of the wall, then nothing happens to it for 15-20-50yrs.
It seems to me “red brick” is one of the defining features of the region and we should celebrate it.

Lots of great texture and colour. Capturing what is deemed ‘ordinary’ is an important task – so that we might remember what we ignore every day.
