Awarding winning and published artist, occassional writer mainly on art and entrepreneur from the north west of England.

Winner and finalist in many art competitions over the years, with work also featured on many websites.

Work featured by BBC TV.

Work in private collections in the UK, Canada, Australia, USA, France and Mexico.

Former chair of “artist led” Storey Gallery, Lancaster, which is currently undergoing multi million pound refurb and attracts internationally renowned artists.

Founding/charter member of onlinevisualartists.com. (A useful artist led online resource.. for artists looking to promote their work and develop their skills).

I’ve given up counting in 2009. but I’ve had home page features at Red Bubble and Imagekind.. 2 Best of the Days at Zazzle..

“It was recently pointed out to me that quite a few of my works resemble L.S.Lowry’s work, and up until that point I hadn’t even considered it ! But the more I think about it the more I realise its correct.. I love the industrial landscape and blank empty seascapes which made him famous and return to them time and time again.”

I’m interested in the nature of reality as presented in art.. I generally play in the visual space somewhere between the photographic and the completely abstract. I look for abstraction when looking at reality.. and seek some visual realism when looking at abstraction.
