Self proclaimed leader of the Random Art movement.

“The rules are.. there are no rules”

I basically like drawing. I tend to use Red Bubble as an online portfolio to throw stuff out there.

My principle interest is the reinvention of the “landscape” whether urban or rural. I enjoy building towards a vaguely realistic depiction using basic abstract elements. My world is crumbly.

But I also like to digress into other types of imagery… hence “the random art” thing.

I also like to take people out of the picture and just show what is left.. this strange modern world we have created… where we drive round in tin boxes and sit in front of a screen watching flickering pictures. I also enjoy myths, religious ideas and legends.. and so these characters wander in from time to time.
My work is a personal response to the madness that is modern life, sometimes I respond with humour, sometimes anger.. sometimes with a naive wonder.

I get a buzz (and a cheque) from anyone paying out their hard earned money for a piece of my work. I don’t bite and generally enjoy responding to questions about my work.

I’m quite well known in San Diego but I’ve never been there.
