ROSE SPRAY I

ROSE SPRAY I

The third design in this set, the “spray” of roses counter-balances the similar grouping of chickory, pink phlox and leaves in the first image, “ROOTS I”. Once again, the wide variety of grasses, coupled with the flowers of camomile, pyretheum and “toad flax” offer a complementary background for the roses. The bright orange-yellow of the pyretheum connects this image with the “sunflower” in the second print of the series.

Beautiful work. Most important thing for painter is color and line. And flowers as a part of nature have a wide variety of colors and shapes. They are beautiful and they accompany us all our life.

Thanks, Vitali, for your comment! Love your work, too! It’s evident that you really under-stand both line and colour, especially in your ‘Two Bunches of Red Tulips’ and ‘Jug with Red Poppies’ – also, your ‘Jug with White Daisies’ – lovely stuff!

Thanks, skyhorse – we have such a plethora of wild flowers that grow right around me – I am blessed to be able to share their beauty with others.

I like this one also. The many shades of green is so uplifting! You should put your images to groups like All about Flowers or Fabulous Flowers just to mention a few!
