This poor woman sat at the dock begging. It broke my heart. I think I embarrassed her by taking her photo. She, of course, spoke no English. It was so hot…..almost 95 degrees F. Here she sat stoically waiting for what coins the day would bring.
Excellent capture Sue, marvellous photo, what emotions this stirs. It doesn’t seem right for her to have to do this…………..
Thanks Marvin. I am touched by your wonderful comments. I wish I would take them all like this. No, it doesn’t seem right. I felt like picking her up and bringing her home.
Certainly lots of character Sue.
What a shame there is still so much poverty in the world.Perfect shot Sue
Thanks so much Gilbert. You are right…….there is too much poverty in the world.
Great candid Sue. You’ve captured reality here.
Thanks so much for your comments Gail. I knew what I wanted, but was so surprised it turned out so well.

Thanks Carol. I was really surprised how this turned out.
Excellent picture, great character which been in B&W improved even more. Well done Memaa.
I think this is my favorite photo, David. I just wanted to pick up that poor old woman and bring her home with me. The pitiful look in her eyes broke my heart. We are so lucky, aren’t we? Thanks for your lovely comment
