The Sphinx of Vegas
I adore everything Egyptian. One of my goals in life is to travel to Egypt and take the cruise down the Nile and ride a camel out to see the Sphinx.
Naturally, I loved the Luxor Hotel and Casino. Here is my favorite shot of “The Sphinx”.

Wow…what a wonderful close up Sue… the details are excellent!!!
I think this one looks even better than the real one…no need to travel to Egypt at all… though the thought of a cruise down the Nile DOES sound fabulous. As for the camel ride to see the real Sphinx though, my rear end is ALREADY sending me signals to the effect that a death-defying ride on a dynamic desert dromedary would be absolutely out-of-the-question!!!

WOW, Ken. Thank you for the extremely complimentary comment. You are going to make hy head swell with pride :))) I still ride occasionally, LMAO, but, I need help getting UP on the horse. I don’t think I will ever get to Egypt with all the unrest in the world. So, this will have to be our Sphinx. :)))

Hi Sue this is a wonderful close-up, l actually went to Egypt when l was in my teens we travelled thru the Suez Canal and saw all the sights it was an awesome experience! Hope you get there its well worth the time!
