This stands in front of the lily pond in the gardens at Vanderbilt Estate. Every time I look at her it makes me wonder what she has seen. The times that have come and gone from when she was put there in the late 19th century (or early 20th). I always wonder what it must of been like at this estate in its hay day… She knows….     I have to admit this has always been my favorite area at the estate. It’s a beautiful place with so much history. I think next weekend I will try to get to a few of the other estates that line the Hudson River. Each has it’s own style and character. As long as my camera cooperates! It’s been giving me problems!! ARRRGG
