I am Mel Taylor.
I live in Louisville, Kentucky, where I was born and raised.
I am a Viet Nam Veteran, with a Purple Heart, for minor injuries suffered there.
My education, from year one in school, has always been art oriented. I was put in special art classes, from one grade to the next, by my teachers.
Upon reaching college age, I chose commercial art, to further my art knowledge.
My work experience for 23 years, has been in photography as lab supervisor.
Most of my digital work involves some of my photo printing experience, such as color saturation, exposure, dodging and burning, etc.
I have had a lifetime of executing artwork, whether it be pencil work, pen and ink, acrylic painting, wax pencil, stained glass and stained glass design, sculpting and digital creations.
I will be uploading most of these mediums as time goes on.
I’m currently seeking an artist representative..
