I’m an English lady, living and working in Sydney. I love being in Australia it feels like I have more opportunities to be creative. Printmaking’s my thing although I’m in to photography, painting, sculpture and all sorts of creativeness.
My favourite medium of printmaking is lino cut, I’m experimenting with textures and colour all of the time, what I really love about lino printing is you can have a rough idea about what it’s going to come out like but it never quite does!! Sometimes this can be rather annoying but most of the time it’s fabulous when something interesting stares back at you once you’ve taken the plate off.
I will be selling my work at Kirribilly Art and Design Markets on Sunday 8th Feb
I like the fact that you can produce many pieces of work with lino but each one will be slightly different depending on how you’ve inked, lined up and printed.
If I didn’t have to work full time I’d print all day long!
