My art practice is what I like to call an ‘experimental mutiny against monotony’. I am interested in collecting forgotten traces of life lived, documenting the abstract and fragmented moments, commenting upon our general conformity and compliant yet self-obsessed insularity. I seek to question society, to break the mundane, to claim opportunities for strangeness, vulnerability and to re-imagine community.
I look for stillness and peace, places for people to sit for a while.
“the true meaning of life,
is to plant trees
under whose shade you do not expect to sit….”
