Oldies like me remember a TV advertisement which went something like….
Beneath the surge of froth and foam, what mysteries, what deeds go on?
Had something to do with cleaning dishes, or clothes or something.
It’s ging through my head now.
Yes. the depth is so well done!
GittiArt

There was a terrible fatal boat crash on this harbour the other day, so sad… and this is the first time I’ve looked at this painting since… it makes sense today…
Gary Murison
Oh, I heard about that crash on the news over here. It was tragic :(
Wendy Slee
I just love everything about this, can totally relate ….
your words are perfect!
melodious replied
Thank you so much… really wonderful comment… i was wondering if the words were necessary… but that’s what i think about when i look at it… and it’s what i painted it about… sydney girl that i am… it is really a self portrait.
Wendy Slee
beautiful and totally unique portrait! The words take us further into your own meaning, I always love a marriage of words and image…..somehow gives more “depth” though I know that is not always necessary when art speaks for itself….
Peter Coleman
the darkness and the dripping beneath the city give this piece so much…depth
your words ring with honesty
i think fear by definition is the uknown, particularly that small dark corner in ourselves where we fear to look
