Tom Vaughan took a gorgeous photo of tulips reflected in a puddle, I asked if I could paint it and he said he’d be honoured!

So, Thank you Tom for taking such a beautiful photo!
For inspiring me!

Tulips are my favourite flower!

Watercolour on paper, my first ‘real’ water colour painting!
This was a big challenge for me!
Water colours and paper are so fragile and yet so incredible to work with…
there will be more from me, I’m sure!

I’m not sure about that David, it was incredible inspiration and a photo worthy of a painting… I can’t take too much credit for the inspiration and that moment captured by Tom, but I’m happy with how the painting turned out!
