Wonderful!! I just love these beautiful creatures, I plan on getting to SA to one of the big parks to see them for myself.——I have 700 in my collection.
wow! it was so amazing to see them out in the wild. i’m much more acquainted with their asian relatives, these african ladies are so HUGE! SA is so photogenic – i’m not here long enough to capture enough, i feel!
How wonderful to see elephants in their native habitat and not in a zoo.
yes indeed. i’m very lucky!
thank you for having me!
thank you for accepting!
Terrific work!! :))))))))))))))))))))))))))
thank you so much for your kind comments!
I love the way you’ve used the unusual focus/blur here! Again the soft colour and light is great, and the blur makes this really interesting! Lovely!
many thanks, again. this was a bit of fun with tilt-shift software.
A fantastic capture and the blur looks great ! I remember me the Elephants at Pilanesberg ,so very impressive. Beautiful green colorsand tones too!! I did several safaris at Pilanesberg, Bushmanns Kloof and Sanbona Wildlife Reserve. They all were different but the most beautiful was at Sanbona! Nicole
i LOVE game drives. it’s been the best thing about living here for me. thank you so much for your considered comments. i really appreciate it.
Great Capture. Your use of DOF really draws you to them. And I am a little jealous that I have only seen them in captivity. :)
these african elephants are so HUGE! i am extremely lucky to see them in their environment. we are wrapping up our time in south africa and i really have to remind myself how lucky i’ve been to see the creatures that i have here.
