Sooo wonderful, Marsha! Looks like they’re ready to make into a delicious beverage (and I don’t mean grape juice)!
I can’t grow them. Not enough sun and heat. The leaves do make a showing on my tress, but no fruit of the vine :)
Geesh, Sally, the paint isn’t even dry on this & you’re commenting already! ha! I’ve never tried growing (photo taken from "morguefile"} them either although many people in these parts do. Tell ya what….I’ll take the fresh ones & make juice, then when they start getting a bit older & fermenting, I’ll ship them out to you!!!

Such a brave brave composition that you have pulled off with such brilliance dear Bernice , those beautiful vines and light n shade in watercolour simply add to a gorgeous work of art … Pricilla xx
You’re much too kind, Wallace…..after not painting for a couple months or so, this one was difficult for me as it’s so busy & complicated……I’m not thrilled with it but decided to post it anyway to show that we all have some “off” days. Lucyxx

I like how you mingled colors in the grapes. Did you lift the highlights?
Thanks, Lora. Yes, I did.

This is lovely!!! Wonderful perspective! My dad had a grape arbour and I spent many hours tasting the grapes during my childhood! This brings back nice memories of him! :)
Glad this brought back some lovely memories for you, Angie….it’s great when an image speaks to someone. Thanks for sharing.
