These little guys were at a farm located behind the Mac-O-Chee castle in West Liberty, Ohio. I had to snap their picture for future reference. They were so cute and followed very closely to Mama……most likely because her faucets were ready to serve up lunch!

This is, without question, a premium porcine parade! Just a lovely job, Marsha; you’ve caught their piggish essence, including Lady Sow & her faucets!!

  • Your comment just cracked me up! Love it! Thank you! I’m STILL laughing!

Oh my, when I saw the thumbnail I was wishing it to be you! You have hit a home run here with me and all the other artist who grew up on farms!

  • Such a warm & wonderful comment, Randy. I never grew up on a farm, but have been surrounded by them all my life….love country living….it just can’t be beat! The sights, sounds, smells…. wouldn’t trade it for anything.

I like the piggies, but also I like the soft touch of the blossoms at the top of the page.

  • The blossoms (actually blooms) were happy accidents. Glad you like the piggies.

Lovely work, they are so sweet, but then I do like pigs! :))

  • Thank you, Meladana. I think pigs are adorable… many people don’t like them. I really like the pot-bellied pigs some have for pets.

Lovely work marsha. My first visit to a piggery was on my honeymoon! Seriously!

  • That’s just too funny, Kay….what was your husband thinking? Piggeries aren’t THAT romantic, are they??? Glad you like it…thank you!

His aAunty owned a faRm and part of it was a piggery! and we called into say hello on our way thru to Halls Gap which is where we were headed for our ‘main honeymoon’!. (Might be one reason I love halls Gap so much!), I FOUND IT FASCINATING. I DID NOT KNOW HOW BIG PIGS GREW UNTIL THEN AND HAD ASSUMED THEY WERE ALL CUTE LITTLE PIGLET SIZE!

  • Sounds like you had a good time & learned something in the process.
