Winsor Newton paint on full sheet Yupo (plastic substrate). Feeling the need to loosen up a bit, I grabbed a large sheet of Yupo....20″ × 26″ & went crazy! :)

A very fine rendition Marsha and an excellent composition ! I must try some Yupo at some point but need to find somewhere that supplies it !

  • Thanks, Lorus. I buy my Yupo online from www.Cheapjoes.com. You may want to check with them to see if they ship overseas. Since you’ve never tried Yupo, be prepared to find it to be a bit frustrating at times. There’s several online tutorials that may help.

  • Ah, Elizabeth…I love your comment. I’ve been known to go a bit crazy many times, but not necessarily in regards to Yupo…LOL!

It seemed that one year those rasals almost took over the yard, now little traces remain. Regardless they are a beautiful flower to view.
Yupo huh? Personally don’t care for it… (not your painting of course, it’s gorgeous, but meaning I don’t like to paint on that substrate.)

  • You old spoilsport! Where’s your sense of adventure??? LOL! Many people don’t like Yupo for one reason or another….with me, it’s kind of a love/hate sort of thing. I liken it to Chinese food….I can go a real long time without it, then all of a sudden a real hankerin’ is flung upon me. LOL! Thanks, Jim….glad you think it’s beautiful regardless. :)
