This old barn sits on Perry Rd. in Covington, Ohio……just a couple miles from our house. We love being surrounded by these old relics that have stood for many years with endless stories to tell.

What a great old farm scene! A way of life perhaps not long to remain, though I hope so! I love the roof of the barn and the shading on the silo. So well done. The barbed wire is amazing!

  • Wow….thanks for such a nice comment. It really saddens me whenever I see another old barn cave in…..several of those around here, too.

Knew it was yours, Marsha…the moment I saw it! Yep, I’d say they don’t build for quality the way they Used to. (Speaking of ‘the old relics that have stood for many yrs.’). I LOVE your paintings,

  • Glad my work has become recognizable. Thanks, Jacque.

Let John know you forward all wine gifts to my address for safe keeping…..I really shouldn’t be commenting on this as the REAL Marsha is taking a break . Whoever you are you did a great job with this old barn, even looks a lot like Marsha’s work.

  • Cute reply, Jim….thanks!

    Nicely done! Love the roof.
I just saw that Prince Charles is a painter and has posted 130 watercolors of his. They are not bad. He sells them for a fortune and uses the money for charity. Wish we could do that too!

  • Thank you, kindly, Marriet.

  • Thanks so much, Diane. I’m so thankful we’re surrounded by so many of these out here in the country.
