Christmas Greetings 2011

I wrote these thoughts last year & decided to post them again this year. Enjoy!

FOR A MOMENT

During the Christmas season, the world becomes a magical place. Neighborhoods take on a cheery glow with bright colored lights, the air smells of savory spices, there’s joyful music all around, & there’s children laughing & playing – looking with great expectation for the arrival of Christmas morn to receive their gifts. Just for a moment, the world becomes a sweeter place. For a moment, we all love more, give more, care more as we go beyond ourselves. And the hurts, sickness, disappointments & pain of this life become non-existent, for a moment.

Then we still out hearts & reflect on the greatest event known to mankind when the world became a magical place some 2000 years ago. …

Thank you so MUCH!

A very special thank you goes out to the mystery buyer who just purchased two matted prints today….

“Basking”

and “Wash Day Blues”

Hopefully the buyer will see this post & know how very much I appreciate the purchase.
