One of the first from the flower series. This moment was created in the spring-time at Central Park located in New York City. One day, I had my camera and was able to capture the most beautiful tulip which was located in the Central Park gardens and sharing a space with Grape Hyacinths (not seen here, but in another oil painting). I was very fascinated with this particular beauty and how open and inviting it was. The soft velvet petals with light beaming from above, and the contrast leaves in the background. This tulip stood alone gleaming in the sunlight.
