Pure pastel. I painted this a long time ago, but only saw it again recently so had a chance to photograph it. The subject I photographed initially in just south of Seattle, Christmas 1996. What a great subject. Full of all sorts of materials, and totally natural.
What sort of a woman did she grow into? I don’t know sadly, but it was a beautiful place to grow up.
