Acton Scott
A real oldie. This is in my days of working in pure pastel. The scene was at Acton Scott working farm years ago when we had summers. The painting is actually 15 years old now, I can’t believe it myself, but sometimes its nice just to chew on the chocolate box stuff to get a feel of where you have come from :-)

Brilliant piece of pastel work!! I’ve wanted to do horses ploughing for ages but couldn’t get any good references. I don’t think it is too chocolate boxy at all. It’s of a son of the soil working hard and not idealistic at all..!!
