Melissa Drummond

Originally from Melbourne, I currently live in Kalgoorlie, on the edge of the desert, in outback Western Australia, with my partner and three children, a couple of dogs and a cat.

My background is in geology and geographic information systems, working in mainly gold exploration. These days I’d rather plant trees, play guitar and take photos.

I love the science behind photography and really admire people who experiment and bend the rules (not that I know what they are) – I find it really inspiring, and I’ve learnt a lot from being on rb.

I have an infrequently updated blog. I don’t write much, which is lucky for you.
