I have all the research on iPhone market if you’re interested. (Building a couple of apps at the moment, and did the due-diligence.) Market share is still small, but the market is freakin’ enormous, and users are good apps consumers. Internet use on the iPhone is high too. The growth rate is also very high for smartphones in general. see here

Mel, I was actually meaning more of a slideshow style show with or without sound that you can move at the pace you’re working on screen.
Personally, if the app was on my iphone that I can have next to my screen I’d be more likely to use it than flipping through screens.

Right you’re off the list ;) Hehe only kidding…can I ask you does it drive you nuts having to wade through stuff on You Tube? Would you like a ‘course’ learning environment…as in 10 steps to black and white processing from people who no what they’re talking about? Hypothetically speaking?

yeah look at the end of the day once I find one good source I’ll return to it. Maybe use youtube as an intro or sample. If there was an app made by the same person I would def buy it.
