    Thanks Jessica. Yeah I know it’s a bit of an old standard! But they are nice aren’t they? If only we’d all bought them when they were 5 bucks each. We’d be rich!

    Is there nothing low light can’t do?

    I think film directors and photographers call it ‘magic time’ or similar. You look up and suddenly everything looks interesting.

    Thanks Davoid. Yeah I’ve heard of referred to as ‘God’s light…’ The time just before the sun plops down for a good nights rest. Seems to me you have to wait until you think it’s almost too low to shoot and then you do. I almost didn’t put this one up ‘cos I thought it was a bit cliched, but I just printed it out for my twin brother who lives in land locked Colorado and it looks ok I think. Enough to make him homesick anyway…

    O.k, wait for just before the sun goes down-check! Learning, learning…. I have walked past these a heap of times, and seen many a photo/drawing, but never in this light. I understand why they call it ‘magic time’. Magic shot, Melinda!

    I’ve always wanted to take a photo of these boxes, but by the time I have driven past it’s always been too late to go back.. This summer I will stop and get them for sure.
    This is a excellent shot. They look great during the day and also great at night. So colorfull

    These are the Dendy Street Beach Boxes I guess Melinda, I love the ambient light that you caught in this image.
    I have always photographed them early morning summer before any humans come around to spoil the image.
