Silverback in Rwanda

Silverback in Rwanda

I took this when I went trekking for gorillas in the volcanos of Rwanda. On the border of D.R. Congo & Uganda. These gorillas were around 7 metres from us – and would have been closer if we hadn’t stepped back (you’re only allowed to be as close as 7 metres). We just hung around and watched the family for an hour. It was pretty cool.

Natalie yep they are mountain gorillas. Thanks for the compliment-high praise coming from someone as good as you are at animal photography.
Mark-don’t worry I answer to any name :)
Ronni Leigh – yep it’s the trek everyone talks about. It’s not my career sadly! I do all this stuff in my spare time.
