Welome to Calligraphy by Melissa!

I fell in love with Calligraphy in art class senior year
of high school. I haven’t put down my pen in over
20 years! I am facinated with pens, paper and the
world of the art.

I am learning to paint with watercolor
and acrylics to add to my work.

Calligraphy has drawn me to great writers from which to
get great inspirational quotes, such as Thomas A. Kempis,
AW Tozer, CS Lewis, Henry David Thoreau, Robert Frost, Emily Dickinson, Spurgeon,William Barclay, Fulton J. Sheen.

I also love to encourage my readers with Scripture in Calligraphy. My art allows me to share my faith without saying a word! I believe the Word of God is very powerful and able to reach into readers’ hearts.

I hope that my readers finish viewing my work with
a sense of peace and encouragement.
